PellasX pellet feeder

The screw feeder is an integral part of the set and is used to transport pellets with 6–8 mm granulation. A screw runs along the entire length of the feeder, lifting the pellets from the fuel tank and then cyclically feeding them to the burner based on the settings defined on the controller. The design of the feeder significantly increases the possibilities for arranging the boiler and fuel storage tank in the room, which solves the problem of retrofitted boiler rooms, where the boiler often has to be adapted to the room.

Pellet feeder — frequently asked questions

How does a pellet screw feeder work?

A screw runs along the entire length of the feeder, lifting pellets from the hopper and delivering them cyclically to the burner according to the settings configured on the controller.

What pellet feeder lengths are available?

As standard 2 or 3 metres, depending on the burner; on request, the feeder can be extended to 4–5 metres to fit the boiler room and the pellet hopper.

Will the feeder fit my pellet boiler?

The feeder operates at angles from 0° to 60°, allowing it to be matched to the layout of the boiler and hopper in the room.

How much energy does the pellet feeder use?

Only 25 W of power consumption. The feeder is made of galvanised steel and consists of two or three sections, which makes transport easier.

Specification

  • Made of galvanised steel — corrosion resistant;
  • Energy efficient — only 25 W of power consumption;
  • Convenient to transport — the feeder consists of two or three parts, so it can be easily assembled when transport is required;
  • Operating angle from 0° to 60°;
  • Standard length of 2 or 3 metres depending on the burner. The feeder length can be extended on request to adapt it to the size of the existing boiler room or pellet storage tank, up to 4 or 5 metres.
